SEASONS OF THE BREATH:
ONLINE HEALING CLASS SERIES
With Saki Lee
These seasonal qigong classes are offered for those who do not live nearby Saki but wish to learn healing and transformational practices that enable you to take charge of your own physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
Besides movement, breathwork and meditation, each class includes some theoretical background on the element dominant in the season, drawing upon the timeless wisdom and resources of Traditional Oriental medicine. Videos are also provided to support your practices in between classes, and you are invited to join the Wednesday evening classes free of charge for extra practice sessions.
WINTER: THE WATER ELEMENT
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the winter season is linked with the Kidneys and Bladder — guardians of our deepest vitality, ancestral strength, and the capacity to rest in the unknown.
Their wisdom teaches us how to conserve energy, cultivate inner quiet, trust life’s currents, and draw resilience from our deepest sources.
The meditations and breath-based practices in this series are designed to help you:
Nourish kidney energy and vital reserves
Calm the nervous system and deepen rest
Strengthen inner trust, courage, and grounded presence
In these sessions, we will explore:
- Healing breathwork (Qigong and elemental breathing)
- Meditations on stillness, depth, fear, and trust
- The Water meridians: Kidneys & Bladder
- Archetypes of the Water Element: Sage, Ancestor, and Keeper of the Deep
- Gentle movement, sound, and self-inquiry
- Practices for replenishment, surrender, and inner stability
